Almyra at Kina is a luxury boutique self contained apartment for couples seeking a tranquil and special place to stay awhile in a stunning coastal garden setting. The accommodation comprises a kingbedded bedroom with quality linens and duvet, and a large sliding picture window leading onto a deck with comfortable outdoor seating. Lie in bed, wake up and watch the sun rise over Mt. Arthur. An luxury ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and fully tiled floor with underfloor heating, demist mirror, heated towel warmer; hair dryer; luxury towels and dressing robes; quality toiletries; dressing area with ample hanging and shelf space. The adjoining living room has comfortable leather sofas, flat screen tv; dvd; hifi; free WIFI for guests; kitchenette area with plenty of cupboards, microwave, fridge/freezer; ceramic hob, sink and is fully equipped to allow you to prepare simple meals. There is also a BBQ on the deck for guests use. From the living room there is a large picture window with sliding door to a deck with outdoor table and chairs and sun umbrella - the perfect spot for evening dining while you watch the ebb and flow of the tide in the estuary and the sun setting over the Kahurangi moutain ranges. The apartment is accessed from a separate driveway to the main house - where you can park your car in total safety. There is also space for a small boat. The apartment has its own access to ensure your privacy and peace and quiet. Guests are welcome to use the owners swimming pool (in season) and swimming/beach towels are provided. The property is set in a parkland garden of 3.5 acres with plenty of secluded places to sit and enjoy the birdlife or just to relax and enjoy a good book. There is also a petanque court. Almyra at Kina is a 2 minute walk from the natural beach at Kina where you can fish, kayak or just swim. There is plenty of walking from the property - around the Peninsula or along the beach towards Ruby Bay. Within a few minutes drive is the spectacular Tasman Golf Club which welcomes guests. Also nearby are several wineries who offer wine tastings (by appointment); cafes and restaurants; potteries and craft studios. Abel Tasman National Park is within 45 minutes drive - either to Kaiteriteri or Marahau - the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. Nelson Airport is an easy 45 minute drive. A breakfast basket is provided on arrival for guests and a complementary bottle of local wine to set you in the holiday mood. We would love to welcome you to our piece of paradise here at Kina. Indicaciones:

From Nelson and the airport, take the deviation (Motorway) towards Richmond. When you reach Richmond go straight on through 2 sets of traffic lights. You will then come to a roundabout where you take the 3rd exit towards Motueka and Collingwood. Continue on the Coastal Highway for about 20km. You will pass through Ruby Bay and up a steep hill and after another 5-6 km you will pass Jester House cafe on our right. Shortly after the cafe, you will enter the 70kph & Tasman sign. Turn right into Kina Beach Road (it is also signed to Tasman Golf Club). If you pass the Tasman Store on the main highway, you have missed the turning ! Travel along Kina Beach Road for about 2km until you come to a turning on the left - Kina Peninsula Road. Take this and follow the estuary for about 2km. You will take a final bend before you have the estuary on your left and the sea on your right. There is a private drive on your left (with mail boxes on the corner) and signed Helme Orchard Estate. Drive up the roadway and Almyra at Kina is the second driveway on your left. Drive down to the house and park by the building. We will be around to greet you.
