The country house “Casa Anzolla” is a split-level house. It is idyllically situated in an ancient olive grove, which we manage organically.
The entire house is floored with hand-made terracotta tiles and is lovingly decorated by a pair of artists. Each level spans some 110 m² of indoor living area. Together with the 60 m² portico facing the southern lake side, they form generous living areas of 170 m². The large olive grove is for guests to relax in at their leisure.

Things to do and see in the area
In the immediate neighbourhood the guests of “Casa Anzolla” may wish to take an extensive walk through the labyrinth of gardens or follow the ancient Franconian route (also used by Luther on his pilgrimage) to reach the sunny and tree-shaded lakeside.
Casa Anzolla, nestled in ancient olive groves and vineyards, is located in the Bolsena Lake Nature Park as well as in a protective zone dedicated to the European hare, whose population is declining. Hunting is therefore prohibited in this area, which is not only appreciated by the hare but also by porcupines and a number of rare birds. You may see woodpeckers as well as herons and other water birds - kingfishers, for example.
In the vicinity of the house many sporting activities are waiting to be pursued: swimming, sailing, wind surfing, diving, fishing, tennis, horse riding, biking, mountain biking, tramping …

Living unit "Oliveto" - 4 to 6 persons
Situated on the ground floor, the apartment “Oliveto” offers a splendid view of the ancient olive grove and the lake beyond. The bow-shaped portico of 60m² and its rotunda facing the grove provide the apartment with a comfortable climate, even on hot days. The interior design is a unique creation of special features, vaulted niches and art objects. Coming from the portico, you enter the large living room with its fireplace and double sleeper couch, or the kitchen and dining room. To the north, there are two bathrooms (a large one with shower cubicle, washing basin, WC and washing machine, and a smaller one with WC, washing basin and bidet) and 2 bedrooms where the beds are fitted with orthopaedic mattresses. This apartment is particularly suitable for children and elderly guests as no stairs need to be climbed and the large grove invites to be discovered directly from the portico.
